Before you begin.
How deep will the well need to be?
In Daugavpils, wells can be approximately 15–120 m deep. The depth depends on the geology at your property; nearby well records can inform an initial estimate, but the exact depth cannot be guaranteed in advance.
Will the water be safe to drink?
Water from deeper aquifers may require iron removal, and the quality of shallow well water can vary. Depth and appearance alone cannot establish whether water is safe to drink. Laboratory microbiological and chemical tests after drilling provide the basis for choosing filtration.
How long does the work take?
Drilling usually takes 1–3 days, depending on the well construction and ground conditions. Any additional installation work is scheduled separately.
What information should I have ready?
Your property address or coordinates, a brief description of access and your intended water use. If you know the depth of nearby wells, please include it.
